B i o g r a p h y

Autumn Wascher (they/them), canadian soprano, studied at Wilfrid Laurier University in the Bachelor of Music Vocal Performance program.

          In their time at Laurier, Autumn performed with Opera Laurier in two major productions as well as their Fall excerpt shows. In March 2019, they performed  the title role in Cendrillon by Jules Massenet, directed by Amanda Smith and conducted by Daniel Warren. In 2017, they had the privilege of performing both Antonia and Giulietta in The Tales of Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach, directed by Anna Theodosakis and conducted by Leslie De’Ath. In January 2019, Autumn performed the role of Micaëla in Carmen by Bizet with the KW Symphony at Centre in the Square, conducted by Andrei Feher.
